Privacy
Ackline is in development and has no customers yet. This page says what we collect today, what the app will process, and which parts are not built yet. It is not legal advice.

This website
The Ackline pages set no cookies and run no scripts, analytics or tracking. The one exception is the waitlist page, which embeds a form from Microsoft. Microsoft may set its own cookies when that form loads. We do not control them.
The waitlist form
The form runs on Microsoft Forms in Ackline's own Microsoft 365 account. It asks for:
- the incident management or on-call tool you use today;
- your work email address;
- whether you work in a regulated financial organisation (yes or no);
- optional free text.
We use your answers only to write to you about Ackline and to decide which integrations to build first. We do not share them, sell them or add you to a marketing list. Please do not put personal or confidential information in the free text.
Microsoft stores form responses in the geography of Ackline's Microsoft 365 tenant. Check the Microsoft Forms data storage page for its current terms.
The app
The app is not available yet. This describes what we are building, and marks what is not built.
- Sign-in identity. Sign in with Apple works in our development builds. Sign in with Microsoft is in progress and Sign in with Google is planned. We store the identifier the provider gives us, and we do not use your email address to identify you. Whether we also keep a name or email address for display is not decided yet.
- Calendar (planned). Nothing is read unless you link a calendar. If you do, we plan to read only whether you are free or busy, not event titles, attendees or notes. You will be able to unlink it.
- Alerts and audit trail. The alerts sent to you, how each was routed and delivered, and when you acknowledged it. The audit trail exists so a team can show what happened afterwards. Alert content comes from the sources your team connects and may include whatever those sources send.
We do not sell data or show advertising.
Where it is stored
App data will be stored on Google Cloud in the europe-west1 region (Belgium). Google Cloud is our hosting provider, and Microsoft is our provider for the waitlist form and email. Push notifications pass through Apple's notification service.
How long we keep it
These periods are proposals and may change before launch.
- Waitlist answers: until we no longer need them to contact you, or until you ask us to remove them.
- Account data: while your account is open.
- Alerts and audit entries: the audit trail is designed to be kept, not deleted, so that a team can answer an auditor later. Tell us if you need an account's data removed and we will say what can and cannot be removed.
Asking for removal or a copy
Reply to any email from Ackline and say what you want removed or sent to you, or use the waitlist page and ask in the free text. We will answer in writing.
Who is responsible
Ackline is a project of the Ackline team and is not yet a registered company. We will name the legal entity here once there is one.
We will update this page when anything above changes, and before the app is released.
